Evoke scents of hidden lounges and clandestine spaces from bygone eras with the Speakeasy candle. This unique scent does have a faintly boozy element, but mostly captures a myriad of scents you'd smell if you were in one of those cozy, hidden bar rooms of the Jazz Age.

You'll smell the antique leather seats of the corner booth, the freshly polished wooden bar top, hints of gin, aftershave, and cigar smoke.

It is made from clean-burning soy wax and premium non-toxic scents and essential oils in a lovely gray vintage-style glass. This handcrafted candle is perfect for lovers of antiques, books, and history, for fans of art deco decor and masculine scents. It also makes a thoughtful Fathers Day gift.

SCENT NOTES: (masculine, inviting, mysterious)
This fragrance is infused with natural essential oils including balsam, juniper, cypress, sage, black pepper, cade, sweet orange, eucalyptus, violet leaf, and coriander.

• BURN TIME: approximately 45 hours
• DETAILS: 8-oz vintage-style gray hobnail glass jar with a bronze lid, gift-ready in a reusable black cotton gift bag

  • The first time you burn your new candle, let it burn until the wax melts all the way across the candle, around 2-3 hours. This will prevent tunneling (melting only down the center of the candle).
  • Trim the wick to 1/4 inch (break off the burned part) each time the candle is lit. This helps prevent the flame from getting too large and helps your candle to last longer. 
  • Keep lit candles away from drafts, ceiling fans, and any air currents. This will help your candle to last longer.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish all candles when you leave a room or before going to sleep.
  • Follow the 2-foot rule: don't place a burning candle near clothing, books, curtains or anything flammable.
  • Place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
  • A candle should not be burned for more than four hours at a time.

  • Don’t burn a candle all the way down. For a margin of safety, discontinue burning a candle when 1/2 inch of wax remains in the container.
