Our Story

Hi, I'm Molly!

Welcome! I'm the owner of Corduroy Lane and the maker of all of the products you find here. The things that make my home feel like home - stacks of books, a cup of coffee, cozy candles burning, plants in every corner, and simple, earth-toned textures - are the inspiration for every product I create. 

I care about using clean, sustainable ingredients for myself and for my business. It matters to me that for everything I make, I get every detail just right. It is my absolute joy to make beautiful things that you will love to come home to and love to give away.

Every product I make is specifically designed to make your surroundings cozier and more beautiful, to make your home smell wonderful and look great!

Here are some things I love about Corduroy Lane: 

•  I love creating scents that make you feel cozy and happy to be home. Sometimes having a candle burning while I'm doing something fun makes a memory that will forever be attached to that scent!

•  I love that the candles I make are made from 100% soy wax, have such a long burn time, are free of toxins, and are environmentally friendly while supporting American soy farmers. 

•  I'm a homebody and I love that because I make these candles in my home workshop, my house always smells lovely, so I know yours will too. :) 

•  I really super love that I get to work with my daughter, Sierra! You can see her beautiful work on gift tags and candle labels and gift box cards. She also takes photos and helps with content creation and design. (I'm including some fun photos of us below.)
