If you love the way the woods smell on a crisp fall day, you'll absolutely love our Fallen Leaves apothecary candle. Made from clean-burning soy and non-toxic scents in an amber glass square apothecary jar with a cork lid, this handcrafted candle is perfect for lovers of all things autumn.

SCENT DESCRIPTION: (earthy + subtly sweet) This candle captures the essence of a nature walk on a sunny, bright-blue-sky October day: stepping through crunchy yellow oak leaves and pine needles, brushing past sun-warmed cedar boughs and birch trees with curling white bark, the air heavy with that subtly sweet scent of trodden leaves decaying into the earth carried on soft gusts of cooling autumn air.

This inviting scent includes essential oils of cinnamon leaf, patchouli, cedarwood, vetiver, and sandalwood.

• DIMENSIONS: 3"x 4"
• BURN TIME: approximately 45 hours
• DETAILS: 8-oz amber glass jar with a cork lid, gift-ready in a reusable black cotton gift bag

  • The first time you burn your new candle, let it burn until the wax melts all the way across the candle, around 2-3 hours. This will prevent tunneling (melting only down the center of the candle).
  • Trim the wick to 1/4 inch (break off the burned part) each time the candle is lit. This helps prevent the flame from getting too large and helps your candle to last longer. 
  • Keep lit candles away from drafts, ceiling fans, and any air currents. This will help your candle to last longer.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish all candles when you leave a room or before going to sleep.
  • Follow the 2-foot rule: don't place a burning candle near clothing, books, curtains or anything flammable.
  • Place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
  • A candle should not be burned for more than four hours at a time.

  • Don’t burn a candle all the way down. For a margin of safety, discontinue burning a candle when 1/2 inch of wax remains in the container.
